38″H x 27″W, Cotton fiber, stitched. Sleeve on back for hanging.
Artist Statement: It’s cold, the frozen tundra, the cold ice chest, the heat of summer that bears the weight of my blue ice cubes. They call like bricks, dropping with a thud and sending ice chards to the surface exposing the cold stream, refreshing to those standing in its wake. Using reverse applique I can expose subsequent layers and reach even cooler depths.
